Quick Poll

I go in for a second ultrasound tomorrow morning, so stay tuned for a more substantial update tomorrow, but in the meantime, I have to know:

What's the verdict on having sex while your vajay is disgustingly full of progesterone cream? I'm on two 200 mg tablets "per vagina" (hahahaha!) in the morning and night and I have to say, things have looked better down there. But I'm also finding myself to be rather in the mood to play. Thoughts? Advice?

  1. I'm on the same dose… mine doesn't have quite as awesome directions. hahaha! I'd say, if you're both game, no harm. My husband is particularly squeamish and thinks that my hoohaw is currently off limits. oh well!

  2. My husband made the call on that one. He had no interest once the globs of old crinone started appearing :) and I don't blame him. It was pretty gross. They didn't say it wasn't allowed though!

  7. I told mine I just can't even think about sex until after the early ultrasounds. I also wonder about the guys absorbing any of the progesterone through their skin or membranes so when we do we will use a condom.

  8. Update: Despite my advances last night, Champ didn't seem too interest in getting clumps of gross yellow cream all over his manly parts. Looks like we may be abstaining for a couple of weeks...

  9. You should wait at least 2 hours after "swallowing" pills. I'm on 800 mg and don't have any discharge; so I'm curious if you are on pills (which you can also take orally) or the applicator cream/gel. Anyway, 2 hours gives enough time to absorb. Another thought would be first thing in the morning when you've had all night for absorption. We're still in the no sex phase and it is killing me, so I'm hoping you get some instead! Try again!!
